Mac OS X PixInsight/PCL Developer Needed
(1/1)
Juan Conejero:
We urgently need the help of a Mac OS X user/developer able to build a PixInsight module with the PCL library:
http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=3295.msg22678#msg22678
Yesterday we released Georg Viehoever's GradientDomain module for Linux and Windows through update-devel, but unfortunately I have no way to compile on a Mac OS X machine until September.
The module source code is available from the first message in the above thread.
I just need the -pxm.dylib files (for 32-bit and 64-bit Mac OS X). As soon as I have them I'll publish them through update-devel.
Somebody?

i built these and installed them on my PI64 and PI32. the processes open but i did not test that they worked...

Juan Conejero:
Great! :)
As the modules have been compiled without errors, they will work for sure. I assume that in the contents of the .tar archive, the bin directory is for the 64-bit version, right?
I'm going to publish these modules through update-devel right now. Note however that the file name of this module is "Gradients-pxm.dylib" (I've already renamed them).
Thanks a lot for your help!
Juan Conejero:
The Mac OS X versions of the GradientDomain module are now available at the update-devel repository. Please let me know if it works correctly.

yes, that's right, bin = 64bit, bin32 = 32bit. not sure of your conventions but that seemed right since i'm running on a 64-bit system.
i just kept the name of the directory that Georg put the module in - i was not sure if you wanted to track the source date or not.
anyway hope this works out for everyone.
