So..... Do I just use a preview from a single un-debayered sub and unstretched sub?  If I do that I get a max exposure of around 2.5mins which is not good   Also how/what is the pedestal value?
I have been taking 600s images in the hope that I can bring out some faint detail but it now seems that 2mins is it and any more is pointless

Deduct a 600s Dark frame from the Light and try.

PS some pop-up notes or separate selector for DarkFrame will very useful.

Juan, about the "exception bug" (example on picture): There is problem inside your official release.

How to get error: Run PI, run CC, click CFA checker. You must( or not? ) get exception like on attached picture.

How to solve: I just recompile source code and the problem disappear ( tested twice with CosmeticCorrection source code Version 01.02.01.0016 on win32 ) Maybe it's PCL 2.0 problem (BitmapStructure)?

Anyway, my compilation work fine. Who want use or test my version of CC module can download it from post #2.

there is an active image in the workplace, but there are no images selected for processing in the module.

CC is capable to apply RTP to any active image.
Please share the image with me?
There is mask in the image?

You mean RTP? As i know impossible to activate RTP without images, so PrintScreen with CC settings please. I can't reproduce the problem without clear instruction.

nice should to have possibility to save a ANIMATED GIF file from the BLINK menu (or another new PI module)

Of course i can integrate video coding to Blink. But why inside Blink? I think it should be independent PI module. Also BachFormatConverter much better place.

Juan,  PixInsight calculate readout value if mouse position is changed.
And PixInsight don't calculate readout value when only pixel value is changed without mouse movement.
How to force PixInsight to calculate new readout value?
