Can not remember using previews in DBE  , But keyboard shortcurt Alt N is what you are looking for

Hi Jozsef

I am not a expert on dslr images , but after calibration I see very little in how you handle the data , say from my OSC colour camera

But I think as well as the video update I might collate some of the very good imformation from this forum into say

" a quick start guide " and a more advanced section

My Friends

I have been getting a lot of questions lately about my vids, mainly due to the" old look" so as there has been a lot of updates to PI recently and does look very different from a lot of my video's even if the underlying method is the same, I shall redo them all in 1.8 .

So a question for you all , where can I improve , did I miss something ?  and while I am at it what new ones would you like ?

Hi

Colour correction works quite well

But you must get most of the galaxy in , inc the faint arms so adjust settings carefully and a bit of scnr to remove some green after cc

What the hell has radioactive symbol common with Automatic screen transfer :-) ?

Well, it's actually a joke. Our STF AutoStretch routine works so well that we have been saying "that's an atomic feature" for a long time. On the other hand, we have a nice word play: automatic = atomic (thanks Georg for pointing this out, although I know you don't like this icon either). Finally, this icon is the standard for burning operations, and we could say that STF is like burning or "giving exposure to" the image. That's it, basically

Ah I see a joke ,

Give a few years and I am sure I will " Get it "

Pi now looks bland in its default setting , do know how to colour things up ,   but a default palate would be good
