Selecting Preview and Image Lists / Executing a Process on a Set of Images or Previews

Keyboard Shortcuts

Sometimes you want to apply or preview a process on a set of two or more images or previews. Process drag objects are not well suited to work on multiple targets. Standard preview and apply buttons have been specifically designed for this task:

Preview and apply buttons work in a very similar way. The small square buttons with down arrows are to select a list of objects on which to apply or preview a process. When you click one of these buttons, a dialog opens where you can make your selection. For example, to select a list of images:

Similarly, to select a list of previews:

When you are done selecting a list of images or previews, just click one of the Apply or Preview buttons to execute the process on each list item sequentially.

The lists of previews and images that you define on each processing window are remembered during the whole application execution. To reset a list, just click the corresponding selection button again and use the Clear All button on the selection dialog. Before using Apply or Preview buttons, don't forget to make sure that the existing lists do include the appropriate images or previews.
